Why we built this
In 2023, our co-founder tried to sell a payroll SaaS he'd spent 18 months building. The only platforms that existed were priced in USD, built for Silicon Valley, and completely unfamiliar with Indian compliance, UPI, or the realities of an indie maker working out of a Bengaluru apartment.
He ended up selling through a WhatsApp group. It worked, but it was messy, stressful, and took 4 months of back-and-forth with no structure, no escrow, no support.
We built SideHustler.in because Indian indie makers deserve better. A home that understands ₹ not $, that knows what GST compliance means, and that's built for the kind of deals that happen between makers — not corporations.
